Guava originated in the tropical region of Central Americas and reached South-East Asia approximately in the 17th century. Guava fruit is either round or pear-shaped, with thin dark green skin which becomes yellowish green as the fruits ripen.

Guav is good

Comment: Red guava is not as common as the white one. Actually, white color guava is sweeter. This fruit is my favourite fruit and it tastes better when it is not completely riped but half row and half riped. In Singapore I used to see seedless guava and it is very sweet. I wonder if that kind of seedless guava will be available in Vietnam.
