Elegant place. The food is delicious. I'm a food lover so it's one of my most favorite parts of the place. Their service caters to the high-end level of society so you have to treat yourself to this kind of pampering once in a while. I did. I loved my room, the view, the amenities. Vacation worth it!

Das kürzlich renovierte Equatorial Hotel ist jetzt noch atemberaubender als zuvor. Es hat mehr Zimmer, und ist dabei seinem Grundsatz nach höchstem Komfort und Exzellenz treu geblieben. Neben der zufriedenen Stammkundschaft lockt das Equatorial jetzt noch mehr Gäste an. Meiner Meinung nach ist es eines der besten Hotels in ganz Vietnam, wenn nicht das beste überhaupt.

In Ho Chi Minh City habe ich zwei Tage im 5 Sterne Hotel Equatorial gewohnt. Mein Zimmer war im 9. Stock und hatte einen tollen Ausblick auf die Stadt. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers und der Service entsprachen meinen Erwartungen an ein 5 Sterne Hotel. Besonders gefallen hat mir der großzügige Pool mit gemütlichen Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten zum Entspannen. Das Umfeld des Hotels bietet Gelegenheit den Alltag der Einheimischen kennen zu lernen.
Das Hotel bietet einen regelmäßigen Shuttelservice ins Zentrum an. Bei den günstigen Taxipreisen ist es aber auch kein Problem sich für kleines Geld zu interessanten Punkten chauffieren zu lassen.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut und was für mich sehr wichtig ist, die Matratze auch.
Das Hotel ist bestens geeignet, um sich nach einem Besichtigungs- und/oder Shoppingmarathon verwöhnen zu lassen und zu entspannen.

Location-wise, I rate this hotel poorly. In terms of looks – this is an elegant place to stay. Service = great!

The hotel was comfortable and the staff are super friendly and attentive. There was construction going on while we were there more than 2 years ago, but the noise was limited to daytime. If you are here to get away from ecerything, this could be a good pick… but if you are here to see placed and explore, it is not very convenient as it's away from the city center, but the hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle service to four major sites in the city center.
