I've never been to the Marble Mountains but it certainly sounds like there is a marvellous view there. A trip there appears to have much cultural value as well, what with the village of stone carving shops and everything. I will certainly make a trip there if I visit Vietnam.

Marvelous view!

Quite a physical destination this is since it involves some climbing. I didn’t know (until at a later time) that buses stop here, and I didn’t join any group tour, and since I’m not comfortable about taking the backseat of a motorbike (I am quite above average in size), I had no option but to take a cab and pay a little extra while the driver waits. But about the destination itself, I must say it is worth the money (just about over four dollar for them to admit you, and that includes an English-speaking guide). As I said, you have to walk your way up, quite some effort, but the view is so well worth it. You would pass by some statues of Buddha, nice spots to take photos and some refreshing fountains. You get to climb inside a mountain itself and though it may feel a bit eerie inside, it is quite an experience. There isn’t that much to see to spend more than 3 hours here... I think two hours is even enough. But overall, I would recommend stopping by here.
