We stayed at Melia for 4 nights in the Swiss Room with Executive Suite Benefits. The breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of different things to offers, so that everyone could find something for his/her taste. The rooms were nicely decorated, and had a plasma TV and 2 toilets. The bed was the most comfortable bed we ever stayed in. The hotel has a great location: it is only a 10 min walk to the Old Quarter, supermarkets, many restaurants are nearby. Great shopping, the cathedral, the lake and the water puppets are not more than 15 min away.

The hotel is comfortable and the suite we had was spacious with an amazing view of Hanoi. The club lounge was comfy with a nice range of treats and it had an excellent view of the city. The service remarkably competent, so were other services like room service, car service, and laundry service. The central location is perfect for sightseeing.
