The one thing you'll never fail to notice in HCMC..it is a modern city indeed, but they did a pretty good job preserving everything that will represent its history and culture... And no matter how busy the city could get, the people are so warm and friendly!

In this place you can meet a lot of interesting people, they're very willing to help you at anything, and there are a lot of places that you must see like Ben Thanh SuperMarket, Dinh Thong Nhat, .. and many many more.Great place that you must go to.

15,000 VND to see the remnants of the Vietnam-US (at the War Remnants Museum) war isn’t that much, and it’s quite an experience. They did a pretty good job presenting their concept, but a little one-sided, I must say. But crafted from the Vietnamese’s government point of view, it’s understandable. However, it’s never healthy to take your kids around here, some photos are too violent. I did see the cathedral, the other museum and the temples, but I think I had a more wonderful time shopping at Ben Thanh, the night market and the surplus joint.
