Hot Spring: An Adventure to Warm the Spirit

If you've gotten a little tired of the usual vacation destinations and are in search of a new and unique adventure, a hot spring is definitely an exciting alternative to the usual beach or pool.
At Nha Trang, about 40 kilometers West on the road to Da Lat, is a hot spring that is definitely visit-worthy. Amazingly situated at a waterfall, specifically Yang Bay Waterfall, is a breathtaking hot spring in so many ways. Aside from its spectacular location, the naturally warm body of water is nestled in a dense, virgin forest. Moreover, the area is home to the Raglai people, a one-of-a-kind ethnic culture group.
Getting to the hot spring can be done in several ways, although the trip can be tiresome being a day-long travel. But for the truly adventurous ones, this is a small price to pay for the magical sight lying ahead of them. For a package price of VND420,000 (US$20) per person, tourists have a choice between a taxi cab and a bus ride to go to the spring. This is already inclusive of a lunch. Guests will be picked up at their hotel or wherever they're staying at 8 a.m. Some tourists prefer to go to the place by themselves and make their own adventure along the way.
Entrance ticket to the hot spring costs VND80,000 for tourists who only want to gaze at the famous attraction and maybe take pictures for memorabilia. For those who want to experience the water themselves, a much higher fee of VND120,000 is charged. Guests who want to bathe in the hot spring feeling more safe and secure have to be willing to shell out VND180,000 for the services of a tour guide.
The hot spring is operated by Khanh Viet Company. And since it takes a long, definitely uncomfortable at times, whole day trip to get to the place, one should make one's stay worthwhile by dipping in the hot spring water himself/ herself, taking in the whole experience. Besides, with a rich forest and majestic waterfall as your view, and the unique Raglai people as your welcoming hosts, it's one nature adventure you will truly carry for generations to come.
