Winterwonderland

What looks like a European mountain range is actually the first snow of this winter in the north of Vietnam. With temperatures around 0 degrees in the morning it began to snow in the region around Sapa today. Although snow in this region is not that rare, but in mid-December very unusual. It is usually only in January really cold. Nevertheless in Vietnam snowfall is always a very special event, about which all media report. The snow today is up to ten inches high and blocked all streets. Obviously, this time we have to expect a very early and very cold winter. For the region Hanoi daytime temperatures of only 11 degrees are expected tomorrow, at night it should clearly go below 10 degrees. Even today, the weather was just 15 degrees and constant drizzle was not particularly inviting. Best regards, Cathrin Cathrin’s Blog: Zwischen Traditionen und Moderne
