Mit Nai-Dan Thien: Significantly Small

Mit Nai-Dan Thien may be quite a small area, but it has big enough features to attract visitors to its beautiful natural landscape, simple but interesting culture, and rich history.
Mit Nai-Dan Thien is located at Can Tho City, in the Mekong Delta. Among its attractions is the Mit Nai Market. It sells fresh agricultural products and local specialties along Huynh Thuc Khang Street which is a delight among tourists. Other tourist sites in the area are the Nhi Kieu Bridge, Thoi Long Pagoda, and Cai Khe Canal, which makes shoppong in the market an even more interesting experience.
Just 200 meters away from the market is a complex of pagodas: Dan Tien; Quang Xuan; and Hiep Minh. The sanctuary compound is simply a haven especially for history lovers who will have a rare chance of exploring the area's rich past and interesting folklore. Moreover, the place is filled with ancient decorations, remarkable architecture and breathtaking scenery, something that visitors will carry with them for a lifetime.
At Alley 149 is Thay Cau Garden which is a sanctum of ornamental trees, flowers, lotus pond, fish pond, and even an albeit small but adorable bridge. Oldmit nai (breadfruit) trees can be found in the area. The atmosphere is generally romantic and peaceful wherein visitors can breathe in the fresh and simply enjoy the beauty of the place.
At Ngong Canal is Buu Tri Pagoda, home to many orphaned kids. Visiting Mit Nai-Dan Thien then is not your typical tourist sight-seeing trip but an altogether cultural and social awareness journey wherein one can engage himself/ herself in meaningful and truly lasting charitable activities.
