SuperStar Aquarius to Attract 80,000 Visitors

The cruise ship SuperStar Aquarius is expected to bring in 80,000 tourists to Vietnam from November this year up to March of 2013. The tourists will be mainly Chinese. This, according to Saigontourist.
 
SuperStar Aquarius of the StarCruises company has about 80 trips that will bring in tourists from Sanya, China to ${attraction_Ha_Long_Bay:"Ha Long Bay"} and ${bigcity_Da_Nang:"Da Nang"} City. The ship owner has set up a three-day and two-nigh tours connecting Sanya and Halong Bay, and four-day and three-night tours to and from Sanya, Halong Bay and Danang.
 
Saigontourist has a weekly schedule of three cruise ship trips in Halong Bay and one in Danang. Foreign tourists of course, will be needing their passports and laissez-passers if they plan to visit Vietnam.
 
According to Saigontourist, about 40 percent of the visitors before came back or are planning to come back to the country. The Halong Bay is one of the main tourist attractions that make visitors appreciate the natural and historical beauty of the place. This is attested by Le Quang Thang, manager of ${bigcity_Ho_Chi_Minh_City:"Saigon"}tourist’s Shorex & Port Agency Department.
 
Moreover, 2012 is seen as a strong period for the cruise tourism sector as it has been experiencing an estimated year-on-year growth rate of 25 – 30 percent. Cruise tourist arrivals is expected to be 130,000 this year in which 80 percent of the plan has already been implemented.
