World Food Festival 2010 at Vung Tau, Viet Nam

According to press release from the officials of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, the World Food Festival 2010 will be held at Vung Tau City from July 21 to 25, 2010. This year event themes “Taste the World” will take place along Thuy Van street, a three kilometers stretch from Thuy Van Beach to Back Beach, with the participation of more than 600,000 domestic tourists and 100,000 international arrivals, as estimated. This is the largest festival hosted in Vietnam, particularly in Vung Tau – a beach city located 125 kilometers southeast of ${bigcity_Ho_Chi_Minh_City:”Ho Chi Minh City”}.

Various festivities are organized to feature the unique of World culinary culture including the introduction of Vietnamese and International cuisines, cooking demonstration of the famous Chef Martin Yan and presentations of many talented bar tenders. More than thirty countries accompany with twenty-one cities and provinces across Vietnam have confirmed to present at the festival. Prior to the opening ceremony, there will be a contribution of up to forty countries and forty domestic members. Food stalls will be organized in group to honor and expose remarkable specialty of regional culinary culture and its featured dishes. Joining the event, visitors have a vast opportunity to enjoy a wide vary of traditional dishes and beverages around the world. This, within festive atmosphere and summer sunshine, promises a great experience to explore and to learn different cultures worldwide. Visitors, while tasting, can shop to take home their favorite foods and beverages as well.
